Although I’ve stepped into a new role within education this school year, you can rest assured knowing that I will still be sharing my daily “teacher” outfits! Although I always labeled them my teacher OOTD, I consider my workwear style to be appropriate for many professions. I share photos each day in the LTK app and on Instagram stories. Pants
I’m currently into the straight and flare style of pants for work, which seem to be trending again this year. I love that Old Navy came out with a straight leg version of their popular pixie pants. They are super comfortable and give just the right amount of room at the ankle. I have the pixie pants, as well as these canvas pants from Old Navy in multiple colors. A few other pairs of pants that I wear frequently are from Amazon or Target. When buying pants, I typically stick with neutral colors like shades of black, brown, and gray. But I do throw in some patterns from time to time as well!
Tops/Bodysuits
I’ve always been a fan of wearing bodysuits to work because they are much easier than trying to tuck in a shirt! I love creating that effortlessly put together look. My go-to bodysuits have always been from Amazon, but I also recently found some bodysuits from Express that I love! I ordered some that are sleeveless to wear now, and others with sleeves for the later months. Bodysuits also make great layering pieces under cardigans or blazers, so they are perfect for making the transition into fall! Although I do love bodysuits, there are some regular tops from Amazon, Old Navy, and Forever 21 that I regularly wear.
Dresses
I love a good midi or maxi dress for work! I do have a few shorter dresses that I wear from time to time, but the midi style is definitely my favorite. This dress from Amazon is so flattering that I have it in 3 colors. I am on the shorter side and the length is perfect, plus the belt at the waist is a nice touch. Some of my other recent buys for dresses are from Old Navy.
Shoes & Accessories
I love shoes and accessories because they can dress your outfit up or down, and make the same pieces look totally different! Since going back to work, I find myself reaching for my loafers more than anything else. They are super trendy again this season! I also love wearing mules or heeled sandals during the warmer months. My new work bag from Target is a game changer for this school year! It fits my laptop with ease and still leaves room for other items. For jewelry, I choose from my assorted gold hoops from Amazon pretty much every day.
