Veja Review | My Top 4 Styles

I have had this blog post in the back of my mind for a while and I’m so happy to finally share it! I bought my first pair of Veja sneakers last year and I fell in love! They are super chic, trendy, and versatile. Plus I quickly found out how comfortable they are and so my obsession began. Each pair is definitely an investment, but one that I truly feel is worth it. I wear them everywhere from work to traveling the world. Below I am sharing a comparison review of the four Veja styles I currently own to give you an idea of which you may prefer.

Veja Campo

After much research and deliberation, the Veja Campos were the first pair I invested in. I took them with me to New York City and walked miles. They are super comfortable because they have a thicker sole which gives you more support at the bottom. It also makes them a bit heavier. I wear size 6 (37) in all Veja styles which is 1/2 size smaller than other athletic sneakers. The color I’m wearing is extra white/black.

Veja Esplar

Up next is the Veja Esplar style. These have a thinner sole than the Campos and are much lighter. They are also extremely comfortable to walk in due to how lightweight they are. However, they typically wouldn’t be my first pick for walking many miles since they don’t have as much support as others. These are a perfect every day sneaker! The color I have is extra white/sable.

Veja Venturi

I LOVE my Veja Venturis! They are the only pair I have that are more of a traditional athletic sneaker. They have great support and again, are extremely comfortable. I would pick these for walking even over the Campos. I have brought them to Iceland, Boston, Pittsburgh, and more. They also give that “dad style” vibe which is trending right now. I love the neutral colors on the pair I own, but have also seen some super cute pairs with bright colors. The color I have is white pierre/natural.

Veja Recife

The Veja Recifes are the most recent addition to my Veja collection. They are just like the Campos in terms of comfortability and support on the bottom, as they also have the thicker sole. The only difference is the velcro detail as opposed to the shoe strings which I personally love. I wore them for the first time to the Eras Tour – so fun! The color is extra white/platine.

One thing I will mention is that I have tried one other style of Vejas that I didn’t personally love, the Veja V-12s. I wanted to love them because they are so cute, but the tongue on these shoes was different than all of the other styles. It was stiff and dug into my ankles. So if you’re in the market for a pair of Vejas I would highly recommend the Campo, Esplar, Venturi, or Recife styles!
