Norwegian Bliss Cruise | What I Packed

My husband and I just returned from a Norwegian Bliss Cruise with his family and had the best time! You can find the travel guide here with details on what we did at each port of call. This post is specifically focused on what I packed! I am very type A when it comes to planning and packing, but it makes a much more enjoyable vacation when I know what my husband and I are going to wear each day. Any time we are heading to a vacation, I consider our itinerary for the trip and then plan out what we will both wear. I like for our outfits to coordinate with each other for pictures, as well as fit the aesthetic of where we are going. I’m sharing below what we packed for our daytime excursions and evening dinners/events.

Swimwear

The majority of excursions on our Caribbean cruise required swimwear, so we each brought 5 swimsuits and coordinating coverups/t-shirts. My husband wore his Croc sneakers most days, whereas I brought a few different sandals. I made sure to bring some sandals with straps for the days that we would be walking quite a bit during the excursion. There was also a day that we visited the Tulum ruins and would not need a swimsuit, so I brought a light summer dress which was perfect for being cute but comfortable during the hot weather.

Dinner and Events

For evening attire on the cruise, we essentially packed outfits that we would wear for going out to a nice restaurant. Although every cruise line is different, cruises all typically have some evening themes and events that you can take part in. For example, our cruise had an all white attire night and a formal night. Make sure you check these events ahead of time so you know what to pack for. I primarily packed dresses and my husband packed a mixture of jeans and pants, as well as polos and dress shirts. I also packed a nude heel, black heel, and more elegant heel for the formal night. And don’t forget accessories! Mixing accessories is the easiest way to change up an outfit if you are packing light and planning to repeat some outfits.

Styled Outfits

Although I already shared links to all items above, below is exactly how I styled each outfit for my husband and I. I love putting together these collages before we pack to help me visualize outfits and make sure everything looks good together. I hope this post of what I packed for our Norwegian Bliss cruise gave you some insight on what to pack for your next cruise or vacation!
