DIY Dip Powder Nails | Fall Gel Designs

A few months ago, I shared a blog post on a new development in my DIY dip powder nail journey… gel designs! If you’re looking for a step by step process on how to get started with dip powder or gel designs, I recommend checking out that post first. You can find it here!

I’m sharing this post because the brand of gel I use for designs now has the most gorgeous set of fall and winter colors. It’s $26.99 on Amazon and comes with 11 fall shades plus white, which is aways good to have on hand for designs. The quality of this gel is amazing and the super fine brush makes designs very easy. I love being able to add simple designs to my manicure to get even more of a salon quality look. Below are a few examples of fall gel designs I’ve done so far. I always create the designs over my regular dip powder manicure.

I used Bioseaweed Gel dip powder in shade Natural for the base of this manicure. The french tip gel shade is Golden Brown.

This manicure is one of my all time favorites! I also used Bioseaweed Gel shade Natural for the base. The gel shades I used were Golden Brown, Dessert Sand, and Calliste Green. I painted over the dip powder using the gel and cured several times. Make sure you don’t do the gel too thick! I created the flowers using a fine brush and dotting tool.

This is the second time I’ve created this simple manicure. I love it! The base is Rossi dip powder in shade Charlotte and the dots are with black gel. Shop all DIY manicure essentials below.
