Save vs. Splurge | Spring & Summer Sandals

About 2 weeks ago I shared some save versus splurge graphics for spring and summer sandals on Instagram. It was super fun seeing which shoes everyone preferred since the styles were so similar. I decided to share a quick blog post to show you which sandals I ended up ordering. On 4 of the styles I picked the “save” option, and I only decided to splurge on 2 pairs. I received all 6 pairs expecting to return some if I didn’t love them, or at least potentially have to exchange for different sizes. But to my happy surprise, all 6 pairs fit perfectly and I love them! I’m sharing below the save vs. splurge graphics plus which shoes I ordered.

For the first style, I went with the “save” option and I love them! I wore them to an engagement party this weekend and they didn’t hurt my feet at all being on the dance floor for hours! The trendy block heels are so easy to walk in. I ordered my true size 6.5.

Style 2

With this style, I ordered the “save” version again. They look so similar to the more expensive version and I actually prefer the color of the cheaper pair. I wore them to work today and they were so comfortable! I ordered my true size 6.5.

Style 3

This style of shoe was my first “splurge” and I thought long and hard before making this purchase! I actually tried out the “save” version and didn’t personally love them on me. If you’re looking for a pair of shoes to wear to the beach I think they would be great. I prefer the name brand pair because I think they are more durable and I will be able to dress them up with dresses, skirts, etc. I also think I will get a ton of use out of these shoes this summer which helped me justify the splurge. With slide on sandals like these I typically size up to a 7 for a little more room. I’m glad I did because they fit perfectly!

These shoes are SO cute! They are another pair that I prefer the style of the cheaper pair a little bit more. I wanted a black pair of heeled sandals since all of the other shoes I ordered are brown tones. These will be perfect for date night or any special occasions. I ordered my true size 6.5.

Style 5

This style is the other “splurge” that I made, but it’s actually not too much of a difference because the more expensive pair is on clearance. There are 3 color options with sizes still available in each. I personally prefer the smooth corked bottom on the pair that I ordered. They are a similar style to the brown pair from Target above, but I know I will wear this style a ton in the classroom this spring and summer. I ordered my true size 6.5.

Style 6

I saved again on the last pair for the perfect summer beach slides! These come in tons of colors and are super cute, plus only $20. I sized up to a 7 in these and they fit perfectly.

The majority of these sandals are either from Target or Steve Madden, which are two of my favorite places to shop for shoes. Steve Madden has tons of splurge worthy styles but also has great sales from time to time. Target does a great job of creating the same look for a more affordable price. Let me know if you enjoyed this save vs. splurge sandals series as much as I did and I might start doing more of them!
