Minimal Makeup Routine | Only 4 Products Needed

I have been working from home for a month now. Naturally my daily makeup routine looks a bit different. I have taken a break from all foundations and powders and my skin is loving it! For me, working from home requires me to participate in Zoom meetings with my students and coworkers. So I still like doing a little bit with my face to look presentable and make myself feel ready for the day. I only use 4 products for this minimal makeup routine and it takes less than 5 minutes! This was also my go to look on casual days or days when I was running behind for work.

Minimal Makeup Routine: Only 4 Products Needed

Here are the 4 products I use everyday after my morning skincare routine. They are the only products on my face in the photo above.

  1. Tula’s Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer: Ever since I tried this product I haven’t gone a day without it! It’s a primer so it works under makeup as well. But I love wearing it by itself because it has a tint of color to it and gives my skin this pretty glow. It also evens skin tone and blurs out impurities. It’s full of probiotics and superfoods so it’s healthy for your skin.
  2. Tula’s Rose Glow & Get it Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm: If you follow me on Instagram, you might have heard me refer to the eye balm and primer as the dynamic duo! Same as the primer, I don’t go a day without this product. I would wear these two together every morning when we went to the gym before work. I love this eye balm for a couple of reasons. 1) the cooling effect is amazing and makes me feel awake instantly, and 2) it adds the prettiest glow under my eyes to brighten them up.
  3. Clinique’s Lash Primer: I’m more flexible on the last 2 steps than I am on the first 2. I like to try out different lash primers and mascaras. But I’ve been using these from Clinique for several months and really like them! I haven’t always used a lash primer, but once I started using this I noticed a huge difference. It definitely makes my lashes longer and fuller when paired with mascara.
  4. Clinique’s Lash Power Long Wearing Mascara: I am not a fan of waterproof mascara because of how hard it normally is to take off. What I love about this mascara is that it lasts up to 24 hours, but easily comes off with warm water. Honestly it’s like magic. It stays all day without smudging, but as soon as I get in the shower or wash my face with warm water it comes right off.
