Fall Fun | A Guide to Raleigh Area Fall Attractions

A fun fact about me is that fall is my favorite season! Pumpkin spice, beautiful scenery, cozy sweaters (sometimes)… what’s not to love? So naturally, I get super excited about planning our fall excursions each season. From pumpkin patches to corn mazes, the Raleigh, NC area has so many fall attractions to choose from! I am highlighting below the top places to visit and everything you need to know before visiting! Masks are required at all locations where social distancing is not feasible.

Page Farms – Raleigh, NC

We made our first visit to Page Farms in Raleigh, NC last weekend and had a ton of fun! Admission is $15 a person, except for ages 2 and under which are free. This admission price grants you access to the corn maze, farm animals, several kid friendly games, and a hay ride. You also get to pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch which is included in the admission fee. There are food truck and farmer’s market items available for purchase. Unfortunately, Sunny had to sit this one out as pets were not allowed. You can visit Page Farms Thursday-Sunday from 9am to 6pm!

Naylor Family Farm – Fuquay Varina, NC

Located in Fuquay Varina, Naylor Family Farm is open Monday-Friday from 10 am to 4 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 1 pm to 6 pm. The price of admission is $18 for adults ($15 for military and police) and free for children 2 and under. The attractions included with the price of admission are their corn maze, barrel train, jump pad, and hay ride to the pumpkin patch where you pick your own pumpkin to take home. There are also farm animals and several other kid friendly activities. However, pets are not allowed. If you can’t make it to Naylor Family Farm by the end of the month, they are open for the fall season until November 8th of this year.

Vollmer Farm – Bunn, NC

Another great farm to visit in the area is Vollmer Farm. Located in Bunn, it is a little bit further from Raleigh, but was a closer drive for us. Vollmer Farm is slightly smaller than some of the other farms, but it does have it’s perks! For a $12 admission fee, you can enjoy the activities on their Back-40 including a corn maze, jump pad, farm animals, and a free small pumpkin. It’s important to note that there wasn’t a pumpkin patch and the pumpkins were already picked. The admission fee also includes your choice of one of the following – kayaking, gem mining, or catch and release fishing. We chose the kayaking and it was a super unique experience! The best part of Vollmer Farm is that leashed pets are allowed!

Phillips Farm – Cary, NC

Phillips Farms, located in Cary, has so many attractions to offer! General admission $12 for ages and 2 and over, and $10 for military, first responders, and senior citizens. The general admission includes access to their corn maze, wagon ride, cow train, and family fun park. Hours for general admission are Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 am – 3 pm, Friday 3 pm – 6 pm, Saturday 9:30 am – 6 pm, and Sunday 1 pm – 6 pm. On Friday and Saturday only, guests over 12 years of age can enjoy the Haunted Farm attraction. Admission is $15 and includes 2 haunted trails. Hours for the Haunted Farm are 7:30 pm – 11:30 pm.

Ken’s Corny Corn Maze – Garner, NC

The best corn maze that we’ve been to so far today is Ken’s Korny Corn Maze! Located in Garner, there is a 6 acre corn maze with 2.5 miles of paths. Gather all 12 stamps on the punch card to successfully complete the maze. Other attractions at Ken’s Korny Corn Maze include farm animals, photo opportunities, and plenty of family friendly games. Visit the corn maze on Friday from 4 pm – 9 pm, Saturday from 10 am – 9 pm, or Sunday from 12 pm – 8 pm. Admissions fees are $12 for ages 6 and up, $6 for ages 3-5, and free for ages 2 and under. Pets are only allowed on their pet friendly weekends so be sure to check their Facebook page before bringing your furry companion along!
