Back to School | My Every Day Work Essentials

Happy Friday! Shout out to all of my teachers that made it through week 1 of remote learning! Back in March, I shared a post highlighting my work from home essentials. So I thought it was only right to share a post about my every day essentials at work! This post isn’t just for teachers. No matter where you work, I’m sure you have a personal drawer to keep your favorite items. I’m highlighting below the items I keep with me at work to make my day enjoyable and my workspace feel like home!

Office Supplies

  • Planner: I keep all of my meetings in my Google calendar, but I still wanted a planner to help me stay organized this year. I love that this one has not only the monthly planners, but also the weekly planners. Beside each day I have enough room to write my to-do list and plan for the day, as well as my notes from parent contacts and virtual learning sessions. Linking this $9.50 planner HERE!
  • Flair Pens: Right along with the planner are the flair pens. If you’ve ever used a flair pen then you know they are the best pens! They write super smoothly and don’t bleed through papers. Linked HERE.
  • Office Chair: If you didn’t notice, all of the items in the picture above are sitting on my new office chair!!! I am so excited about this. I’ve always wanted one for my classroom, but thought it wasn’t necessary since I wasn’t sitting down very often. Now with virtual learning, I am sitting down all day. This chair was easy to assemble and it’s super comfortable! Linking it HERE.

Wellness

  • Hand Sanitizer: This is definitely one of my most used items currently! What I love about this hand sanitizer is that it doesn’t dry out your hands and it smells great! Linking the travel size HERE and the large size HERE.
  • Masks: I have tried many different masks over the last few months, and these are the BEST! Not only are all of the patterns super cute, but they fit me better than any others I’ve tried. I have 2 sets so I can wash them after each use. Linking the ones I have HERE and HERE.
  • Travel Deodorant: Well I wouldn’t say this one is a daily work essential. I do typically put it in on at home! But I can’t be the only one that forgets every once in a while haha. I like keeping this one in my desk in case I need it. It’s super compact and smells great! See my full blog post HERE on why I switched to natural deodorant. And shop Native HERE.
  • BOOST Elderberry Gummies: Every year around back to school time, I like to up my dose of immune support supplements to make sure I stay healthy! I have been taking these Elderberry Gummies linked HERE and they taste amazing! They are packed with elderberry, zinc, and vitamin C, and they fight against cold and flu symptoms.

Energy

  • Coffee Protein Shakes: I always keep one of these coffee protein shakes on hand! I love them because they double as a snack and a boost of energy. These are actually one of my Amazon Subscribe & Save orders which means I save 15% on them! Linking them HERE.
  • Verb Bars: Verb Bars are another one of those products that I’ve been hearing about for months and finally decided to try. They really are so good! Each bar contains as much caffeine as a shot of espresso, and the caffeine comes from organic green tea. My favorite flavors are vanilla latter, chocolate chip banana bread, and red velvet! Get started with a trial kit HERE!
  • Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm: I know it seems weird for this to be in the energy category, but let me explain what I mean! I put this eye balm on every morning under my makeup, but I’ve also started to dab it on under my eyes if I’m feeling tired later in the day. Anybody else’s eyes get heavy sometimes during that 2-3 pm afternoon slump? The cooling sensation of this stuff is like magic and instantly makes me feel awake! You can get this eye balm HERE from Amazon, or you can get it directly from TULA’s site. If you’ve never shopped there, get 20% off your first order HERE.

Whether or not you’re a teacher, getting back into the swing of things at work is definitely an adjustment after working from home. That’s why I love keeping these things on hand at work to make my work environment enjoyable!
