Greenvelope | Send Holiday Cards with Ease

If you’re anything like me, the holidays notoriously sneak up so fast! I always intend to mail out Christmas cards, but by the time I think about actually doing it, it’s already too late. Luckily, you still have time to send a holiday card to your loved ones in a way you might not have thought of! Greenvelope is an eco-friendly way to send customized invitations or cards via e-mail. My first experience using this company was to send virtual wedding invitations to our guests from out of the country – see that full post here. They have TONS of designs for any event. I’m sharing below a little bit more about the perks of using Greenvelope and how it works.

  • Tons of Designs: Like I said, Greenvelope has tons of unique designs for any occasion. In their holiday section, you can choose a card with a photo or just a beautiful illustration. You can also choose cards of different sizes and orientations.
  • Endless Customization Options: This is what impressed me the most when using Greenvelope for our wedding invitations. Not only do you customize the card, you are also able to customize the envelope, envelope lining, background, stamp, AND wax seal! You also can add your own text, including the subject and message that accompanies the e-mail when you send out the card.
  • Unique Features: This part goes hand in hand with the customization, but is still worth noting. I love the animation of the card when you open it in your e-mail. It first shows the addressed envelope, then turns the card around and opens it up. You can actually send the card to 10 people for free in trial mode, so you can send it to yourself to see how it looks. Although this is likely more important for invitations, it’s really neat that Greenvelope gives you a report of who has opened the card.
  • Affordable Pricing: Another great part of sending virtual holiday cards is the amount of money you can save! When mailing cards, you have to pay for the cards themselves plus the cost of the postage. With Greenvelope, you pay a flat fee based on the number of people you are sending the card out to. Plus they currently have a promotion going on to save even more! Now through 12/22, use code 2020CHEER to save 15% off all holiday cards.
  • Eco-Friendly: Last but not least, I really appreciate how eco-friendly Greenvelope is! Sending virtual holiday cards is a great way to be more conscious of the environemnt. PLUS, in partnership with the National Forest Foundation, every Greenvelope purchase you make through 12/25 plants a tree. What a great way to make a difference! Learn more about that here.
