We just returned from ringing in the new year with family in Houston which was tons of fun! I am so excited for everything 2024 has in store for us. Because I know it is going to be such an eventful year, I am committed to creating or continuing healthy habits. I am even using this app called Habit to track a few of my top goals every day. It’s encouraging to see weekly and monthly progress on these, and so far it has kept me super motivated. Below are 10 of the habits I’m creating or continuing in 2024.

- Exercise: The first habit that’s a non negotiable for me in 2024 is moving my body daily! It has officially been one year since we’ve had our Peloton and it’s been hands down the best investment. I used to struggle to stay on track with exercising because I couldn’t find a routine that I looked forward to and was able to stick with. With the Peloton I now enjoy my workouts, especially if I’m cycling with Camila or Cody as my instructor. This year I’m also excited to tap into the other workouts the Peloton app has to offer. - Hydration: Although I typically have good intentions to drink plenty of water each day, I sometimes find that by the end of the day I haven’t drank enough water. I’m making a commitment to drink ~100 oz each day. I love using my Stanley cup when I’m on the go for ease, or this jug from Amazon for when I can’t easily fill up multiple times a day.
- Face Rolling: This is a new habit for me and I’m excited to start seeing results! I bought this face roller and have been using it every night. From what I have read online, it helps with lymphatic drainage and slimming the jawline. Always use some type of toner or oil before rolling.
- Skincare/Haircare: For me it is so important to invest in quality skincare and haircare products that are free from harmful chemicals. I am so happy with the health of my skin and hair lately, and I know it is thanks to establishing good routines. Stay tuned for an updated skincare blog post! My current favorite products are from TULA and True Botanicals. For hair, I love using Divi Scalp Serum, Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner, and Olaplex Hair Oil. I also limit heat on my hair, so I frequently braid my hair at night or use these heatless overnight curls.
- Athletic Greens: My husband and I have been taking Athletic Greens for over a month now and it’s most definitely a habit I am continuing in 2024! We notice a huge difference in our overall gut health when drinking these. They are full of prebiotics, probiotics, superfoods, and more. I love the idea of getting an extra dose of nutrition each day, although I am also making it a point to eat more vegetables! - Sleep: This is another area that I’m really wanting to improve on this year! Getting adequate sleep is so important to overall wellbeing, and this year I’m going to make it a priority. We recently started trying Beam’s Dream Powder and are liking it so far. If you need any help falling asleep or staying asleep definitely check it out! - No Fast Fashion: If you’re new here, one thing about me is that I LOVE fashion! In 2024 I want to continue making a habit of investing in quality pieces instead of stocking up on fast fashion that won’t last. I love the idea of having a capsule wardrobe and I am excited to move closer towards that in 2024. Although every store has hits and misses, my current favorite retailers to shop for quality items are Abercrombie, Revolve, Free People, and VICI. I have worn my Hot Shot Onesies, Rompers, and Overalls from FP so many times and they still look good as new! They are a closet staple for me. Plenty of my other favorite retailers definitely have quality items as well, you just have to look for them.
Generating Extra Income: Although my blog and social media started out as a hobby (and still is), I love being able to generate extra income with these side hustles. It allows me to pour back into blog as many platforms that I use charge a monthly or yearly fee. Often times it also goes to our travel fund! I shared in an Instagram reel recently that I primarily generate commission based income from Amazon Affiliates and LTK, and my current favorite app for finding UGC campaigns is Insense. I have recently starting generating extra montly income by taking surveys! It may sound silly but it is super easy to earn extra cash in your spare time. I have already earned over $100 in less than a month using AttaPoll and Inbox Dollars. Sign up using my referral links to earn a welcome bonus!
Self-Care: I am a firm believer in making time for yourself and doing things that make you look and feel your best! For me it is about balance, so I prioritize what is important for me when it comes to self-care. For example, I save money by doing my nails at home , but I love treating myself to pedicures! I also enjoy things that simplify my daily routine. Laser hair removal and brow laminations have been amazing investments for me! I am looking forward to exploring new self-care routines in 2024!
Pet Wellbeing: So this one isn’t necessarily a habit for me, but more-so a family goal that my husband and I committed to this year! We are creating healthy habits for ourselves, but also want to establish healthier routines for Sunny! As she gets older, we want to ensure we are doing everything to give her the best life possible. We made the decision to switch her food from kibble to fresh, human grade food. We did some research and placed our first order with The Farmer’s Dog! Aside from the natural ingredients, we love that the plan and portions are completely customizable to Sunny. Looking forward to seeing the benefits this has for her! You can currently get 50% off your first order- check it out here!
