Morning Skincare Routine | Products + How to Save

It’s been about a year since I started taking my morning skincare routine seriously! Of course I would wash my face, but I didn’t have a lineup of products that I used daily. Before you have a routine you love in place, it’s hard to figure out where to start. I began by taking the skin quiz on TULA to see what they recommended based on my skin type and skincare goals. After my first TULA purchase, I was hooked up! I kept coming back for more until finally my morning skincare routine evolved. I am sharing below what I use on my face every morning, plus how you can save some money if you want to try it out.

Before I share the products, I just wanted to give a little insight on ways to save money. One thing I love about TULA is that they partner with ID.me, so if you’re a member of the military, a teacher, or a healthcare worker you can get 20% off. TULA also has a wide range of value kits, so you can get a bundle deal by buying multiple products at once. If you just want to try out one product first, I recommend getting it from their Amazon storefront. The items are the same price (sometimes cheaper), but come with free shipping for prime members. I am linking their Amazon storefront HERE. On TULA’s site, free shipping starts at $40. Lastly, if you’ve never tried TULA before, you can save $20 off your first order through my referral link HERE.

Step 1: The first thing I do is cleanse with TULA’s Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling so refreshed!

Step 2: Then I’ll use a cotton pad to apply the Pro-Glycolic 10% Resurfacing Toner. A lot of other toners I’ve tried feel really harsh on my skin, but this one doesn’t! What I love about TULA is that their products contain probiotics and superfoods which are great for your skin! You can read under each product’s description what the ingredients are and why they are beneficial to healthy skin.

Step 3: Next I apply the 24-7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream. Again, love it! This product is a little pricier than others, but the jar lasts a long time. It’s very moisturizing without leaving my skin feeling greasy. Cleanser, toner, and moisturizer are the main 3 steps needed in any skincare routine. The following steps I’ve added as personal preferences.

Step 4: I was SO excited when TULA came out with their Protect & Glow Daily Sunscreen Gel. It was the one thing that was missing from my routine. The foundation I wear has SPF, but lately I haven’t been wearing makeup as frequently. So this addition to my routine was perfect! This sunscreen is SPF 30 and it also protects from blue light and pollution. It’s very lightweight and leaves the prettiest glow on your skin.

Step 5: Next thing I do is apply TULA’s Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer. This stuff is amazing! It’s a primer, but it can be used with or without makeup. Typically I use it without makeup. It is tinted and it adds the prettiest color to your skin. You really don’t need makeup when wearing this. If I’m going to do a full face of makeup, I’ll apply the Brighten Up Smoothing Primer Gel instead. This one makes foundation go on super smooth.

Step 6: Last thing I’ll do is apply the Rose Glow & Get it Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm. I’ve always called this paired with the blurring primer the dynamic duo! You can read more about them in my 4 step makeup routine HERE. This eye balm adds the prettiest glow under your eyes. But what I love even more about it is the cooling sensation that makes me feel super awake. I typically apply this again in the afternoon if I’m needing to feel refreshed. It’s amazing!

I highly recommend all of TULA’s products! Not only do they make my skin look great, it also feels great knowing that I am putting safe products on my skin. If you don’t know where to start, trying taking the skin quiz on their website. If you already have a skincare routine, I would still highly recommend trying out some of their products and incorporating them into your current routine.
