3 Days in Puerto Rico | What I Packed

We just got back from a short but AMAZING 3 days in Puerto Rico. Our last visit to Puerto Rico was a trip to San Juan which we loved, but this time we were eager to explore the western side of the island. Much more to come when my travel guide blog post goes live! But for now I am starting off by sharing what I packed for this birthday weekend getaway! Sadly a few things I wanted to pack didn’t arrive in time but I think I still made it work. I also proudly packed very light for this trip, as hubby and I shared a single carry on. We have become pros at this! Check out what I packed for each day below.

Day 1

A very early travel day called for this cute Quince set as my airport outfit. It was perfect because it’s pretty lightweight, so it was comfortable to wear on the plane but also didn’t leave me sweating when we touched down. I did quickly change once in Puerto Rico to this romper from Petal & Pup that was giving total vacay vibes. I love everything from their Isla Resort Collection! When I first laid eyes on the Dolce Vita sandals I knew I had to have them for this trip! They are so cute and matched all of my swim looks perfectly.

Night 1

On our first night I wore this long sleeve button down dress that I bought on clearance at an outlet mall, so unfortunately I can’t link it. But I did wear my tried and true clear heels from Target every night. These shoes have been on so many vacations with me and are super comfortable.

I was also very excited to bring this Prada bag on our trip to Puerto Rico. I borrowed it from Vivrelle, a membership club that allows you to borrow designer bags each month for a small monthly subscription fee. This bag was perfect for vacation but not an every day bag that I would splurge on, so borrowing it specifically for the trip was so fun! You can use my referral code ROBINTODD to skip the application process and automatically be accepted into the membership club!

Day 2

Our first full day in Puerto Rico included lounging by the pool in this Skatie swimsuit and Petal and Pup set. I have been loving Skatie swimsuits lately as they have a huge variety of flattering styles! This was my favorite swim outfit from the whole trip. And the matching set from Petal and Pup is great as a swim coverup or even just a lounge set.

Night 2

The next night I wore this Amazon dress out to dinner. This dress also made an appearance on our most recent cruise. It’s the perfect summer dress and comes in a few colors. The slit and cut outs definitely add a unique flare to it!

Day 3

Our last full day in Puerto Rico started with coffee and a view in my favorite Target pajamas. I order new pairs of these every season because they are so soft and they always come out with new prints and colors. We then spent some time at the beach and pool again, and I wore another cute romper from Petal and Pup’s Isla Resort collection. Both rompers from the collection come in several colors and prints.

Night 3

Our last night on this trip was spent watching the sunset before heading out to dinner. I was so excited to pack this Petal and Pup dress on the trip! I love the neutral colors and pattern. You can currently save up to 50% off clothing & accessories at Tommy.

Miscellaneous

I can never leave home without stocking up on my favorite products in travel size. I don’t go a day without my TULA and True Botanicals skincare favorites. TULA’s 5 Piece Skincare Essentials Kit is always my go to for travel, but would also be perfect for testing out a few of their best sellers to see if you like them! Make sure you use my discount code ROBINLEIGHTC.

Anytime we are taking a beach vacation I always bring my Supergoop sunscreen. They have so many unique sunscreen products including the Glow Stick and Poof which I love. You can never have too much sunscreen! Honorable mentions include a few of my favorite Ilia products for glowy skin and some Sol De Janeiro tropical smelling body wash and lotion.
