We’ve been back from Europe for a few weeks and I’m finally settled enough to begin blogging about our trip! I wanted to start off by sharing what I packed for this trip. It’s actually something I’m quite proud of! I still can’t believe this, but my husband and I packed for 3 weeks in Europe in ONE suitcase. Since we were going to be traveling through multiple places in France, Spain, and Italy, we thought it was important to pack light.
My strategy for accomplishing such a task was to pack neutrals that could be styled multiple different ways. I was very selective with each item I packed. Any outfit can be styled differently by changing your bag, shoes, jewelry, or even hair style/accessory. I also switched up wearing certain sweaters with leggings or denim. I’m sharing below exactly what I packed (and what ended up being just enough for 3 weeks in Europe).

Pants & Leggings
Faux Leather Leggings: I don’t travel many places without my faux leather leggings. They are a splurge but are so worth the price to me because I’ve worn them hundreds of times and they hold up great. They can be dressed up or down and paired with nearly anything.
Patent Leather Leggings: I bought these patent leather leggings for the trip and absolutely loved them! They are super flattering with any outfit.
Wide Leg Leather Pants: These wide leg leather pants are way more affordable so I was hoping they would be a good find… and they definitely were! I noticed that leather pants were very on trend in Europe (even more so than here). It was so fun wearing them.
Denim: I only packed 3 pairs of denim for this trip! So I chose a black denim, distressed denim, and non-distressed denim.
Tops & Outerwear
Jacket: This trip required a heavy jacket due to the cold winter temps in France and Italy. I was nervous about styling this one but ended up loving it so much! The black leather looks great with any outfit – leggings or denim. It’s currently on clearance in case you’re looking for a high quality jacket!
Sweaters: I packed 5 sweaters on this trip including one black, one beige, and one grey. I went out of my typical color palette with the two red sweaters. But since it was Christmastime, I thought they were super cute. I also packed a casual taupe pullover.
Bodysuits: I love bodysuits so it’s no surprise I packed 3 of these. I love that they can be worn by themselves or used for layering. I packed a mock neck black, mock neck brown, and v-neck beige bodysuit.
Shoes & Accessories
Sneakers: I absolutely love the color palette of these sneakers. I could style them with nearly outfit due to the beautiful brown and cream tones. I will say they are pretty heavy, so I wouldn’t recommend them for tons of walking. But they are a stylish sneaker nonetheless!
Boots: Since we were packing very light, I also had to be selective with my shoes. This was probably the most difficult part for me! But I think I packed the perfect variety with these tall black boots and short brown boots.
Bags: I’m sure you are starting to see a pattern here haha. But I’m sharing because this strategy worked great for me! For bags, I packed one cream colored belt bag and one black crossbody. The leopard belt bag was actually a Christmas gift from my in-laws, but I wanted to include it because I ended up wearing it a lot while I was there! I loved creating variety in my outfits by switching up my bag.
Accessories: As far as other accessories, I packed my neutral colored claw clips, gold hoop earrings, black sunglasses, and cozy ear muffs.
