I wanted to write my first post on what I get asked about the most – and what I love talking about the most – our wedding day! June 15th, 2019 has gone down as the best day of my life so far. It was the one day where all of our friends and family could gather in one place to celebrate us, and all of my hard work and vision for the wedding could come to life. The day wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my amazing husband, family, friends, and of course vendors who I am highlighting below. If you are getting married in the Raleigh, North Carolina area, I highly recommend each of these vendors!

Photography – Missy Loves Jerry Photography took all of the amazing pictures in this post. Working with them was the best – they made us feel comfortable while taking pictures and all of the pictures turned out beautiful!
Wedding Planner: Our day of coordinator was Jennifer from Jennifer V. Events. She was very nice and easy to get along with! She made sure everything ran smoothly on the wedding day, as well as answered many questions during the weeks leading up to the wedding.
Venue – When we first looked at NOAH’s Event Venue, we knew it was the exact vibe we were going for. It was modern while still being elegant and beautiful. The venue has since been renamed Paramount Event Venue and is run by new owners. However, it is still the same gorgeous building with many customizable features.
Invitations – Our invitations were made by Basic Invite. Their website was very easy to use and the numerous designs/colors available made it easy to achieve exactly what I was looking for! Engagement Ring / Wedding Bands – All of our rings are from Bailey’s Fine Jewelry and I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else! I love the customer service and of course the rings are just beautiful.
Hair and Makeup – The hair and makeup of myself and my bridal party were done by WINK Hair + Makeup. They did an amazing job and made me feel so confident on my big day!
Spray Tan – This glow is not JUST bridal bliss – I had some help from Ellen at Southern Soleil! Ellen sprayed me for my all of my wedding events so I always had the perfect bronzed, natural looking tan. I cannot say enough great things about working with her!
Guest Book – The first time I saw an advertisement for Miss Design Berry I knew I had to have it! Their designs are so unique, and the design process was very easy. We were also able to include Sunny in the design and have a matching Snapchat filter. Miss Design Berry also designed our welcome sign and seating chart sign.
Flowers – The entire team at Watered Garden Florist were amazing to work with! They listened to my vision for the flowers and made it come to life. The flowers were so dreamy and exactly what I was going for!
My Ceremony Dress – I bought my Kenneth Winston ceremony dress from New York Bride and Groom of Raleigh. From the first day looking at dresses to the final fitting, shopping at NYB&G was a great experience!
Bridesmaids Attire – My bridesmaids dresses are from David’s Bridal. We had an amazing experience shopping there and were easily able to find a dress that looked great on everyone! See my full post on what my bridesmaids wore HERE.
Groom & Groomsmen Attire – The suits that my husband and his groomsmen wore are from Jos. A. Bank. Their ties and socks are from The Tie Bar. The guys looked great and their attire matched our wedding colors perfectly! See my full post on what the guys wore HERE.
Catering – The food at our wedding was absolutely delicious thanks to Catering Works! They provided passed hors d’oeuvres, a plated dinner, and a beautiful dessert table and cake. Their customer service was excellent and they always worked with us to achieve what we wanted.
My Reception Dress – I decided to change into a reception dress so I could move easier during our first dance (bachata/rumba). I found this high quality, super affordable, and overall amazing dress from Lulu’s. I received so many compliments on this dress and it kept me comfortable dancing all night. DJ / Photobooth – Frank from CWDJ Entertainment kept our party going all evening! He listened to what we wanted and played a great mix of English and Spanish songs. We were having so much fun on the dance floor that we didn’t go to the photobooth (which was also a hit) until right before the exit.
Getaway Car – One of my favorite pictures from the wedding is us with this car – so beautiful and elegant! We booked this service through Classic Event Cars. Although a slight issue came up towards the wedding day, they resolved it quickly.
Videographer – We loved working with Wilfredo from Single Story Film! He also made our engagement video which we love just as much as our wedding video. He was easy to work with, gave us suggestions, and allowed us to give input on the video. This video is something we will cherish forever!
