I am so excited to share my favorite cosmetics brand today with you today – Tarte Cosmetics! Let me start off by saying that I am by no means a makeup expert. I’m just a girl that loves a simple makeup routine that helps me look and feel my best. If that’s also you then you’re in the right place! Face
- Tinted Moisturizer: This Maracuja Tinted Moisturizer is probably my favorite product from Tarte! Although it’s called a tinted moisturizer, to me it’s like a light coverage foundation. Even better than how it looks is how it feels on my skin! It leaves my skin feeling dewy and hydrated. With ingredients like maracuja oil, hyaluronic acid, vegan collagen, turmeric, and aloe – you can imagine how great this is for your skin! My shade is 25-N (light medium neutral). One of the many great things about Tarte is their Shade Matchmaker. It was spot on for me so I highly recommend taking the quiz to find your perfect shade!
- Foundation: If I want a slightly more dramatic look (weekends or special events) I use Tarte’s Babassu Foundcealer Skincare Foundation. It’s a medium coverage foundation with SPF built in. Containing babassu, hyaluronic acid, sunflower seed, and Vitamin E, this foundation is also very nourishing for your skin! I wear shade 27N (light medium neutral).
- Concealer: If you’ve only heard of one Tarte product in your life – it’s probably their Shape Tape! Everyone talks about this product, and for good reason! This concealer covers anything and everything without leaving your skin cakey. The shea butter, mango butter, and licorice root work together to brighten under the eyes and smooth the appearances of fine lines and wrinkles. I wear shade 22N (light neutral).
- Setting Spray: Tarte’s Shape Tape Setting Spray is the best setting spray I’ve ever used! Formulated with cucumber extract and aloe extract, it always feels super refreshing. It smells great and leaves my makeup looking fresh all day!
Eyes
- Eyeshadow Palette: I LOVE Tarte’s eyeshadow palettes. They have the best shades and they don’t crease on my eyes like some other brands do. My favorite palettes are the ones that also have blush and bronzer included. It’s just so convenient for me because it’s one less thing to organize or pack for vacation. I’m currently using the Clay Play Eye & Cheek Palette Vol II. It has tons of good neutrals which is right up my alley! It also has a blush, bronzer, and highlighter.
- Primer: If you want big and bold lashes – be sure you have primer in your makeup routine! I love Tarte’s Opening Act primer. It lengthen and strengthens your lashes to help you achieve a fuller look when combined with mascara. It’s also ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested!
- Mascara: Tarte has several different mascara options. I would love to eventually try them all to compare them for you! I’m currently using their Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara and it’s great for a dramatic look! You can check out all of their mascaras HERE.
Lips
- Lip Gloss: In this era of wearing masks, I haven’t been wearing very much lip stick! But I do love wearing Tarte’s Jelly Glaze Anytime Lip Mask. It’s called a lip mask because it’s so nourishing, but it also adds color and shine to your lips like a gloss. I have also heard great things about their Maracuja Juicy Lip. In addition to adding color, it also plumps your lips and smooths the appearance of fine lines!
- Lipstick: If I am going to wear a lipstick, I love Tarte’s Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint! It gives the perfect matte finish and stays on all day. It comes in a ton of colors!
Sets
The last thing that I want to mention that I love about Tarte is their sets!
